The Most Fascinating “Guru” Website Ever!
February 21, 2008
I have to admit that after I stumbled upon this website by John T. Reed, profiling various real estate “gurus” – the good, the bad and the ugly – I could not tear myself away from my computer screen for several hours.
Real estate investing has been historically infested with the “gurus” and infomercials that prey on the less-than-sophisticated novice investor. Even though I myself am not an advanced investor by an stretch of imagination, it is quite clear from the get-go what some of these gurus are all about. I find this list a must-read, especially for beginners.
In the world of real estate investing, it is important to separate the truth from fiction, the good advice from the bad, and opportunistic schemes from ways to build real long-term wealth. We at MeetMOJO are committed to becoming a resource for real estate investors, so we will be working on providing the most usable and transparent information to our users and readers. Please share your experiences with our community, so that we can all become stronger and better educated.
Here’s to your success, wealth and health!

I found your site on technorati and read a few of your other posts. Keep up the good work. I just added your RSS feed to my Google News Reader. Looking forward to reading more from you.

I have had positive experiences with Dave Lindahl and Cameron Dunlap, good teachers and great customer service. I have had a less-than-wonderful experience with Brad Wozny (8 Figure Empire) – with a name like “8 Figure Empire” I should have known better.

Anne, I saw that you have done work with Cameron Dunlap. I am a Las Vegas Realtor – Investment Specialist and I watch my investors cash in every day on todays market. I would love to start using Camerons 1 day dough, however I am extremely hesitant. Is this guy for real?
I was hoping maybe you would be willing to give me some feed back on your experiences with him. His methods are genius, however I just don’t want to get burned. I have the buyers but it’s my name on the line in the event I get offers accepted and then have to back out do to funding. Vegas is a big-small place and the REO agents will black list you as a Realtor if you burn bridges. Reputation to close is everything with the listing agents. I would like to hear what a person who has used his methods has to say.
Thanks,
Crystal
